Additionally, we designed a walk-in wardrobe to the front, consisting of a 1.2m high wall that offers privacy while allowing natural light from the front Velux roof lights to illuminate the room.
Since the permitted development allowance was already absorbed by a two story side extension pitched roof, we needed to flatten the pitch and create a crown roof detail to reclaim some of the 50 cubic metres used. This extra space was crucial for creating the dormer loft conversion on this house.
The end result was a stunning master bedroom complete with a large bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The final outcome was so impressive it earned a feature in The Sunday Times.
