The remaining fees are then divided into stage payments to provide balance and peace of mind and will also allow for the flow of work. They milestone payments and there is some flexibility in the sequence depending on circumstances.

20% payable on fitting of beams and floor joists
20% payable on building of dormer structure
20% payable on completion of insulation and plaster boarding’
10% payable on completion of second fix joinery
10% payable on completion of snagging and final inspection
