How did we create this loft conversion for our client?
When considering how a very straight forward loft conversion can become something impressive, one has to think simply about the detail and how to explore the opportunities to be inspired without overindulgence in wow factor and still be able to impress the beholder. Introducing enough light is essential in any case and beyond this it’s about the subtler finishes such as the stair carpentry and décor.

Challenges
This project being very local was convenient for our management team and was a straight-forward. Most Hip to Gable loft conversions exhaust their 50 cubic metre allowance and for peace of mind we applied for a Certificate of Lawfulness. While it takes on average two months for this initial process it does assist with future conveyancing should the house be sold.
Results
While being typical as a loft conversion style, the look and feel in the new spaces was very light airy with nice built-in wardrobes and a bright subtle colour scheme.
