Hip-To-Gable Loft Conversion | Master Bedroom with Ensuite & Fitted Wardrobes | Stanmore

How did we create this loft conversion for our client?

Harrow and the surrounding areas are mostly populated by 1930s housing stock and the typical loft conversion style for these when semi-detached is a Hip to Gable. This style maximises space gain potential. A typical loft conversion it maybe, but always unique and every loft conversion provides a platform to introduce creativity by designing elements that stand out.

About the Project

Key Features

There are many elements to a typical loft conversion that may not be considered to have wow factor. Having said this, with a good eye for colour and creative soft furnishing the end result can definitely stand out.

Challenges

After an initial discussion some years earlier, our client came back to us having dealt with technical issues in relation to work a neighbour had carried out on their property. The adjoining property had been gutted and its structural integrity weakened. Being attached, this had an impact that needed resolving before we could progress with the conversion.

Results

A balanced space with a thoughtfully designed bathroom and fitted wardrobes worked very well. The choice of colour selected for some walls together with coordinated bedding was a winner for our very happy client.
