How did we create this loft conversion for our client?
Some of our clients have a very simple brief or desire – to create a bright uncomplicated layout that meets the need for that extra space. Even with a more basic approach, collaboration is important and there’s no place for complacency if we are to achieve our goal which is to be proud of the end-result.
Key Features
Two features stood out with this conversion – one being the great view from the panoramic feature window the second was exterior rear elevation dormer finish in the dark grey slate which looked great especially with the black exterior finish on the two windows.
Challenges
There were no major difficulties in building this loft conversion. The headroom being a little tight did require a little creative engineering and this is something we have embraced having not only very adaptable structural engineers but a problem-solving approach to any challenges.
Results
A bright contemporary space with fantastic views through the panoramic feature window which introduced an abundance of natural light into the new bedroom.
