How did we create this loft conversion for our client?
Throughout the project, the focus was on creating a functional and comfortable living space for the family within the permitted development. The loft conversion was completed in 10 weeks, providing the family with the additional space they needed while also adding value to their home.
The rear angled triple casement window added natural light and created a calming environment in the child’s bedroom. The L-shaped dormer loft conversion was a successful project that met the needs of the family and provided an excellent example of how to make the most of a loft space.
Key Features
The glazing featured a rear angled triple casement window to improve aesthetics and natural light. The L-shaped loft conversion layout created space for a child’s room next to the master bedroom as well as an ensuite.
Challenges
Working within permitted development, the team at Abbey worked creatively to maximise the space and create two bedrooms and an ensuite for the client.
Results
The team at Abbey built and designed an L-shaped loft conversion for the Hertfordshire period property. This meant that the property gained a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and a second bedroom in the rear addition. This created much needed practical space for a family with a young child.
